Road Side Mie Goreng @Nagoya

Hi Folks,

For the one who lives in Indonesia or went to Indonesia before, you might know that Indonesia is well known of the road side foods. Most of the road side foods are cheap and can be found in everywhere.

Few popular road side foods
- ayam penyet
- mie goreng
- nasi goreng
- sate
- ketoprak
- etc.

And today I will share one of my favorite "Mie Goreng" which located at Nagoya.

The details are as follow :

Location : Komplek Nagoya Business Centre, Nagoya. In front of Westar shop house or near Sinar Bulan shop house.
Foods : Mie Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Mie Tek Tek, Bihun Goreng, Indomie Kuah, Indomie Goreng, Mie Kuah.
Taste : 7/10 (IMHO)

Special note : Most of the Indonesia's foods are heavy flavor (salty, spicy, and sweet). I suggest you to highlight "don't be too salty" to the waiter when you order the food.

Mie Ayam Baso Priangan

Location: Baso Priangan, Batam-Indonesia

Juz had dinner with my friends at Baso Priangan. An eating place near Danamon Bank, Jodoh. I ordered a bowl of "mie ayam baso". "Mie ayam" mean chicken noodle and "baso/bakso" mean meat ball. So together mean chicken noodle with meat ball haha :)

It's my second time visit here, and the mie ayam baso still tastes so good. I liked the the broth here. I guessed they'd boiled it with bones of chicken or cow, because it is not too salty and i don't feel thirsty after having it. I bet no MSG added. Well that is juz my wild guess haha... if you ever doubt at it, why don't you guys juz come on here and try it yourself? xP

All of the CIAK KAOLA family's member love this "mie ayam baso priangan" hahaha x)

Fyi: this eating house is located on a street  where many night pubs operated, so i think it will be easier to be found. After dinner maybe you guys can visits these pubs and take a sip or two... haha have a relaxing night~ Gute Nacht^^

Tham Ciak's 1st post

Hi Readers,

I am Tham Ciak :) . It means "greedy" but it doesn't mean I am greedy on everything. Let me explain the characteristic of "tham ciak" on myself
  • I am a person who can't resist delicacies
  • I have the adventurous heart which keen on trying something new
  • I like to have desserts after a decent meal :p but I am afraid of getting fat (how do I wish killing two birds with one stone)
  • I have a define taste that choose to eat anything delicious but I won't waste any foods even though the food tastes "nearly acceptable"
And I also love photography and traveling.

I wish through this blog, we are able to deliver the useful informations to all of you.

P.s :
None of us have the professional photography skills, we are simply share photos through iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, or compact camera.

Ayam Penyet Bu Mega

Saturday night we're heading out to eat dinner.... we went to Bu Mega place, and we ordered a plate of indonesian style fried chicken called "Ayam Penyet".

The chicken meat's tasted quiet nice for me, but there's something i need to compliment about is the vegetable that come with the main course... the "long bean". They cutted it into same lenght, the greeny color was alluring and it had a "natural sweetness" in it. It was really delicious, even if u only eat it plain with rice^^. If u are on diet, then u must try it. It makes me wanna have it everyday on my dinner table haha...

Can't have enough,
Hao Ciak
